    2017年12月31日，包含先导巡天及正式巡天前五年观测数据的LAMOST DR5数据集正式发布，供国内天文学家和国际合作者使用。
    LAMOST DR5的天区覆盖图，不同颜色代表不同观测年度   LAMOST DR5包括先导巡天及一期五年正式巡天4154个观测天区中逾9百万条光谱，其中高质量光谱数（S/N>10）超过750万条 ...
    另外，发布数据中还包括了5百万颗A、F、G、K型恒星参数表，50万颗M型矮星参数表等。LAMOST再一次以“实际行动”证明了其光谱获取率世界第一的能力。
