The LAMOST DR5 V2 general catalog includes objects obtained from LAMOST pilot survey and the first five year regular survey. For galaxy, QSO and M type stars, all of them are in the catalog. But for other type targets, only those targets with r band SNRs larger than 2, or g band SNRs larger than 5, or i band SNRs larger than 5 are included. There are 9,027,634 targets in this catalog totally, including 8,183,667 stars, 152,863 galaxies, 52,453 quasars, and 638,651 unknown objects.
