The Recalibrated SDSS Stripe 82 standard star catalog
Huang Bowen ; Yuan Haibo
The dataset includes recalibrated versions of both the SDSS Stripe 82 standard-star catalog v2.6 and the latest v4.2 release. The recalibration was performed using the Stellar Color Regression (SCR) method by combining spectroscopic data from LAMOST DR7 and SDSS DR12 with corrected Gaia EDR3 photometry. The resulting catalogs achieve an internal photometric precision of approximately 5 mmag in the $u$ band and 2 mmag in the $griz$ bands, substantially improving upon the original calibrations. The recalibrated catalogs mitigate systematic calibration errors present in the original releases, making them suitable for high-precision photometric studies.
