A Python package for easy access to the 3D dust map

Given the Galactic coordinates (l, b) and distance (d), this Python package returns several outputs, including: extinction E(B−V) [mag], dust density [mag/kpc], extinction uncertainty (σ) [mag], and the maximum reliable distance [kpc] along the line of sight. The package can be installed via pip install dustmaps3d, and the source code is available at https://github.com/Grapeknight/dustmaps3d.
