    近日，北京师范大学天文系苑海波副教授和研究生张若羿利用LAMOST和Gaia数据在仙女座星系(M31)和三角座星系(M33)的外围探测到了尘埃的信号。该成果发表在《天体物理学报通讯》上。
    在本星系群中，M31和M33分别是最大和第三大的星系，但探测这两个星系外围的尘埃依然非常具有挑战性。
