LAMOST Data Release 12 v2.0

The LAMOST Data Release 12 v2.0 (DR12 V2.0) released the spectral data obtained from October 24th, 2011 to June 3rd, 2024, including low-resolution and medium-resolution spectra. 6,602 plates were observed at low resolution and 2,892 at medium resolution. It contains 12,602,862 low-resolution spectra, including 12,233,809 stellar spectra, 279,821 galaxy spectra and 89,232 quasar spectra. It also includes a stellar parameter catalog containing 8,376,135 A/F/G/K stellar parameter records, as well as 985,962 M-star records, 734,532 A-star line-index records, 18,286 white dwarf records, 646 cataclysmic variable records, 28,896 galaxy stellar population synthesis records and 23,329 quasar emission-line records. It includes 15,471,446 medium-resolution spectra, comprising 3,361,218 non-time-domain spectra and 12,110,228 time-domain spectra. It also includes a stellar parameter catalog containing 3,224,901 records, including 1,640,335 non-time-domain records and 1,584,566 time-domain records.
