The Dataset of V2790 Or: Photometric Data, Eclipsing Minima, and Measurements of the O’Connell Effect in the Light Curves.

This dataset contains the photometric data, times of minimum light, and measurements of the O’Connell effect in the light curves of V2790 Ori, as presented in the paper entitled Spectroscopic and Decade-long Photometric Observations of the Contact Binary V2790 Ori: Evidence for a Brown Dwarf Companion and a Solar-like Magnetic Activity Cycle.
The photometric data of V2790 Ori are derived from the multi-band light curves obtained by our own observations using three ground-based telescopes in China from 2015 to 2025. The table of times of minimum light includes 445 data points spanning 25 years. The table for the O’Connell effect measurements provides quantitative results for 22 sets of light curves, including the magnitude difference Δm and the OER ratio, among other parameters.
All data have been standardized and verified multiple times, ensuring high precision, long temporal coverage, and complete wavelength coverage. This dataset can support studies on the orbital period variation, magnetic activity cycle, and starspot evolution of V2790 Ori, and also serve as a reference for the photometric observations and data processing of similar celestial objects.
