A catalog of "Stellar Loci. VIII. Photometric Metallicities for 100 Million Stars Based on Synthetic Gaia Colors"

The catalog includes synthetic photometry for BP, RP, and G magnitudes derived from all Gaia DR3 BP/RP spectra (219,197,643 sources), along with metallicity estimates based on these data. Multiple validation tests show that the typical metallicity precision is 0.05–0.1 dex for both dwarfs and giants at [Fe/H] = 0 down to G ~16. The precision decreases to 0.15–0.25 dex at [Fe/H] = -2.0 and further to 0.4–0.5 dex for [Fe/H] in the range -4.0 to -3.0. Due to limitations such as sources falling outside the model's parameter range, poor observational quality, or inaccurate extinction estimates, the results for some stars may be unreliable. To address this, we provide several flags indicating the reliability of the data. Additionally, we also include photometric information based on Gaia DR3 for ease of use.
