A New Magnetic Parameter of Active Regions Distinguishing Large Eruptive and Confined Solar Flares
Ting Li
This database includes a total of 106 flares (43 eruptive and 63 confined) of Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite (GOES) class C5.0 and larger that occurred within 45 degree from the central meridian, from June 2010 until June 2019. For each event in the database, we measured the magnetic nonpotential parameters of active regions producing solar flares.
