We are pleased to announce the ICESUN Summer School 2027: Supernovae, to be held at Yunnan Observatories, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in Kunming, China, from May 2–8, 2027. As the fourth annual summer school organized by the International Centre of Supernovae (ICESUN), the school aims to provide students and early-career researchers with a broad introduction to supernova physics and related fields. The programme will focus on supernova progenitors, stellar evolution, explosion physics, nucleosynthesis, and supernova observations, through lectures, tutorials, and discussions led by experts in the field. The summer school will be followed by the international conference “40 Years of SN 1987A: Understanding Supernova Diversity”, to be held in Guilin from May 9–15, 2027. Together, the two events will provide young researchers with an opportunity to progress from learning the fundamentals of supernova physics to engaging with current research and the broader international supernova community.
