In recent years, with the completion and full operation of ALMA, FAST 500-m, GLT, TMRT 65-m telescopes, etc., and the started construction of the SKA phase I project, radio astronomy on both sides of the strait has ushered in a vigorous development. The mainland's radio telescopes are mainly concentrated in low-frequency radio bands, while Taiwan is more concentrated in (sub)millimeter waves. Therefore, radio astronomy research at the two sides of the strait has a natural complementarity. In order to promote extensive collaboration in the field of radio astronomy between the two sides, we plan to hold the second Cross-Strait Workshop on Radio Astronomy in Shanghai, scheduled for February 26-March 1 2023, which will continue to foster collaboration among radio astronomers from both sides, and this time including researchers and students from Hong Kong. The workshop will primarily consist of contributed talks and group discussions to explore the current state of radio astronomy development in both sides, as well as a two-day school featuring lectures by radio astronomy experts aimed at training students from both sides of the strait. Plans also include a tour to the TMRT 65-m telescope. We cordially invite experts, young scholars, and students from both sides of the strait to participate in this event.
