We are pleased to announce the conference "Resolving Galaxy Ecosystem Across All Scales" will take place on 11-15 December 2023 at The Chinese University of Hong Kong in Hong Kong, China. The rich variety of galaxies in the present-day universe results from evolutionary processes that connect a wide range of physical scales and span all epochs of cosmic time. Understanding these processes therefore requires a collective effort that combines theory and observations from multiple wavelengths and physical scales internal to galaxies. Numerical simulations are now bridging the gap between galaxy-scale physics and the star formation and feedback occurring within molecular clouds. Meanwhile, observations are following a similar trajectory, with large integral-field spectroscopy surveys like SAMI and MaNGA, as well as MUSE and JWST, providing rich galaxy-scale datasets while current and future ground-based campaigns studying the Milky Way, Andromeda, and other Local Group galaxies establish links to much smaller physical scales. This conference invites people working on all of these areas to discuss what we have learned about the origin and evolution of the galaxy ecosystem: the triggering, regulation, and quenching of star formation, the role of galactic outflows and supermassive black holes, the chemical enrichment history of star and gas, and the dynamical context in which these processes occur. Themes will include: Star formation feedback Chemical evolution of gas and stars on various scales Stellar population: resolved and unresolved Gas kinematics Stellar Kinematics Diffuse ionized gas Dust Star formation and quenching Circumgalactic medium Feeding and feedback of AGN Past, current, and future surveys of galaxies, especially spatially-resolved surveys.
