On May 26 and 27, 2024, the EP General Meeting 2024 of the CAS STPs was held on the Suzhou Campus of Nanjing University. The conference was hosted by the Purple Mountain Observatory of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. About 160 domestic experts and scientists attended the meeting.

During the meeting, the EP project team presented the latest status of the mission since its launch on January 9, 2024, including the satellite status, the calibration results, the EP first light, and the preliminary results of transients search and identification. This event further facilitated communication and collaboration among the Chinese members of the scientific team, fostering closer cooperation between the EPSC and the EP scientific working group.
